Parking is usually available near most tours’ starting location.

All of our tour starting points are accessible by public transportation (bus, train).

Public transportation is recommended for our Taste of Sydney, Taste of Chinatown and Taste of Vietnam tours.

Please be sure and let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, etc.) when you purchase your tickets. As long as we know in advance, we may be able to accommodate your needs. We note what allergies that we are not able to manage in the tour descriptions.

‘Taste of India’ tour is the best for vegetarians.

However, we can accommodate for vegetarians on all tours.

Unfortunately, there will only be limited tasting available for vegans.

We can offer a totally vegan ‘Taste of Vietnam’ tour for a private group only

All the tickets are online, you will not need the paper ticket as we can check you in online.

Tours can be fully rescheduled if 7 or more days notice is given. 

If someone in your group doesn’t turn up on the day, no refunds or rescheduling will be possible. Tour tickets are transferrable so if you know ahead of time that someone in your group cannot come, feel free to invite someone to take their place.

 

Yes! Our tours are family friendly. Children under 5 can attend for free and we have kid tickets (for 5-11 year olds) and youth tickets (12-18) available. All children and youth must be accompanied by an adult.

Absolutely not! Our tours combine commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into unique 3-6 hour experiences. You’ll be guided through Sydney’s best kept secret suburbs, eating local artisans’ most delicious foods while learning about food, culture, and history from local guides.

Yes, advance ticket purchase is required. Events typically sell out quickly. To maximise your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.

In general, Australians do not give tips, so our guides do not expect them. They do all love a five-star review with their name included, though, so this is an alternative way to acknowledge that they have been a great guide. 🙂

Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at selected food-tasting locations.

The tours are held rain or shine. In the event of a heat wave warning, we may cancel tours if the forecast is around 40c. In the event of inclement weather, we will be able to go inside many of the establishments on the tour.

We advise to check the weather conditions for your day’s event and dress appropriately.

Currently only our Taste of Sydney (Rocks & Barangaroo) and Taste of the World (Liverpool) tours can be made wheelchair accessible. Please advise upon booking.

You should bring a camera/phone and a small bottle of water. If it’s a sunny day, please bring sunscreen/sunnies/a hat.
