Iranian food has been brought to Sydney via authentic family recipes, and enhanced by Australian produce.  It’s delicious, fresh, hearty, spiced, and wholesome.

Persian rice is a meal and an art form. The stews will satisfy your belly and your soul, the bread is fresh and chewy, and the meat is lightly spiced and cooked to tender perfection.

Iranian/Persian food will surprise and delight. There’s no falafel or tabbouleh to be had here; Iranian food is different!  Sometimes described as ‘India and Pakistan meet the Middle East’, Persian cuisine has unique flavours, utilising herbs and spices in delicious ways!

There are so many stories to tell about Iran, its food, culture, and traditions. You’ll sample spectacular food and find out where the hidden gems are in Ryde so you can go back again with confidence!

Can I cancel or change my ticket?

Taste Cultural Food Tours Inc. Terms & Conditions:

a) Taste Tours are subject to change without notice

b) Taste Tours reserve the right to cancel any tour

c) Taste Tours will be rescheduled in severe rain or extreme heat. Should your tour be cancelled you will be offered an alternative tour or date or full refund given.

d) Cancellations/changes made 14+ days before the tour: Customers may re-schedule the tour, transfer the tour to tour credit, or receive a full refund with no admin fees.

Cancellations/changes made 3-13 days before the tour. Tours can be fully re-scheduled or fully converted to tour credit with no admin fees. Alternatively, a 50% refund is available.

Cancellations/changes made in less than 3 days before the tour: There will be no refunds or re-scheduling possible. In the case of illness only, tours can be converted to tour credit minus a 25% admin fee for the individual or group.  Please note, a doctor’s certificate may be required.

e) It is the responsibility of the tour participant to inform the Taste Tours organisers of any dietary requirements. Please note we cannot cater to all requirements at every tasting location.

f) It is the responsibility of the person booking the tours to inform the rest of the group about tour updates.

g) The Taste Tours organisers accept no liability for the samples provided by the destination food businesses.

h) Taste Tour guides may take photos and video footage during tours which may be used in presentations, on websites and in other publications as examples of people experiencing our tours. Please inform the tour organisers if you are not comfortable in having your photo taken.

I have given my ticket to someone else, is that okay?

All the tickets are online, you will not need the paper ticket, and we can change the name when you check in, if needed.

Someone in my group did not arrive, can I get a refund?

Tours can be fully rescheduled if 7 or more days notice is given. 

If someone in your group doesn’t turn up on the day, no refunds or rescheduling will be possible. Tour tickets are transferrable so if you know ahead of time that someone in your group cannot come, feel free to invite someone to take their place.

 

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Please be sure and let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, etc.) when you purchase your tickets. As long as we know in advance, we may be able to accommodate your needs. We note what allergies that we are not able to manage in the tour descriptions.
